The bricklayers removed all the damaged brickwork on the windowsill.
It is not practical nor cost effective to only take away some of the brick windowsill.
If there are some damaged brickwork on the windowsill chances are all the bricks have hairline cracks or moisture within them so now was the time to replace them.

The bricklayers installed a new brick windowsill.
When the windowsills are rebuilt, each brick must be slightly sloped away from the house so that water is propelled towards the ground rather than back towards the window frame.

Once again, the bricks are tinted so that they match the existing brickwork.
The brick tint is guaranteed for 30 years. Finally, caulking is installed between the brickwork and the windowsill to prevent water seepage. |
